These guys are changing the game when it comes to showing emotion.
Over the weekend, Twitter ran rampant with discussions on The Man’s Guide to Love, a collection of videos that asks men one question — “If you had one piece of advice that you’d give another man about love, what would it be?”
One look through your feed Sunday morning showed that this campaign, which first reached popularity back in 2012 and 2013, was coming back into the conversation.
So, we thought it’d be a good idea to show you what men are saying online in The Man's Guide to Love about romance and relationships.
“The best piece of advice I could give to men when it comes to relationships is generosity,” said Will, 39. “Love is a great thing, but generosity is a great partner to have with love. It’s what keeps it going and lasting through the years.”
These videos buck the trend when it comes to men and sharing feelings. A study by MindLab found that men — even though they are just as emotional as women — tend to hide their feelings.
"We tend to oversimplify and exaggerate the perceived differences between men and women and are more likely to focus on evidence that supports our existing gender stereotypes,” Daily Mail reported. “(Research) suggests men feel emotion just as much as women, sometimes more strongly, but are less willing to express these emotions openly due to expectations put on them by society.”
Tell that to these guys:
